The use of chemotherapy as primary or neoadjuvant chemotherapy has become one of the attractive approaches to explore; the most significant advantage of primary chemotherapy is early elimination of metastatic microfoci of disease. The preoperative use of full dose chemotherapy can cause regression of the primary tumor, allowing for the increased use of breast-saving procedures and thus improving quality of life.
