Carbon Nanotubes: Role in Healthcare
Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have shown great promise for electronic, computer, drug delivery, probe microscopy and sensor applications due to their electrical, chemical, mechanical and thermal properties. Some of this could become real marketable applications in near future, but others need further optimization and modification. Development of functional devices/structures based on nanotubes will surely have a significant impact on future technology needs. The present paper discusses their properties in the context of future applications in healthcare.
